SEO For The Common Webmaster

I am not sure if you feel the same way that I do but I am getting tired of having to update Word Press all the time. It seems that there is a new update monthly. I have the Auto update plug in but still it takes some time.

I would not mind if the changes were some really cool features but the last couple of updates did not amazing as I could see. They are normally just little tweaks that do not affect most bloggers.

How do you feel about all the updates? Seen anything awesome with any of them?

I recently sold off the directory I started. It was becoming very successful but was also attacked with a bunch of spam. I found myself not able to keep up with approving links and deleting spam ones. I found that the amount of time was more than I wanted to spend.

I did some good promotion on the directory and made a small profit. I have learned though to stick to what I do best and that is blogging. I love to blog, I make a little money at it and it is fun. I have seven blogs so that is enough to keep me busy when I am Online.

I am curious, how many of you enjoy owning a directory? Is it fun or just for money?

Being a webmaster is one of the most enjoyable things to be. It is entertaining, exciting, and offers many challenges. However, the downside is that very few webmasters can survive without another source of income. There are some that do and those are the ones I would love to hear from.
