imajestic.com SEO Company

The following is a sponsored review.

Being a blog dedicated to webmasters, I am often asked to check out and review companies that offer services to companies that have or want to have a web presence. I have many and I am always pleased to find one that is located in the United States.

Imajestic is a company that offers loads of web services to make your company website recognized. They offer Search Engine Optimization services and much more. Through an extensive system, they help build or repair your company reputation. They work closely with your company’s marketing department to build a solid and beneficial web presence. Once they optimize your website, they go a step further by handling advertising through pay to click programs and social media methods to get customers to your site.

Unlike many companies, they are looking for a long term relationship with your company. They do not just set you up and go on to the next company. With a long term relationship, you are ensured that you keep up with the latest technology and the latest trends. From Search Engine Optimization to improving your conversion and retention rate, iMajestic will become part of your company.

I checked out their website to see what was offered and found the site set up with the customer in mind. It lays out the basic services that are offered and includes a free project analysis, research, and proposal before you agree to anything. They want your business and are willing to lay out the plan before the money flows.

They have been in business since 2001 and offer both a phone number and a physical address besides an Email address so that it easy to reach them when you need to. I am always skeptical of any SEO company that I have not done business with before. However, iMajestic provides some impressive testimonies to back up their many years of service.

If you own a business and want to make your business more accessible Online, I suggest you check out this company to see if they are right for your company. It does no harm in seeing what they can do for you and they could be the best business relationship you ever form.

If you decide to use them or you have used them in the past, please share your experience by leaving a comment to share your experience with others.

Learning SEO can be fun

Published by under Search Engine Optimization

Learning search engine optimization (SEO) has been a long and sometimes confusing road. Much of my SEO skills were learned by experimenting and the rest by reading forums and blogs. One of the weirdest things about SEO is all the crazy myths that surround what an SEO actually does.

Some say they build links, some say they manipulate the search rankings, others say it is almost like magic. The truth is that most SEO’s experts keep a lot of what they do a secret because they are afraid that if too many people know what and how it is done they will lose their edge.

If you want to become an SEO, start reading, and keep reading for months and then start practicing on your own sites. Once you have mastered that then you should consider doing SEO for others.

SEO Scams

There are many SEO companies that will do professional work for good prices. I have reviewed a few on this and my other blogs. However, when purchasing any service, be careful of SEO scams.

Search Engine Optimization is an acquired skill and it takes time and lots of work. There is no magic bullet that you can buy for $49.95 that will magically make your site appear on the number one spot in Google or get you a PR 6 ranking in just three months. I would be weary of any company that guarantees those results.

Are these things possible? Yes they are. You can get either and both if you work hard. However, Google determines who earns both of those rankings and at anytime Google can devalue any or all of your links. If this is done, there is no way to earn the rankings like that.

When using any SEO service, make sure to ask questions. Get the full details of what is being offered and what is being done to promote your site. If it sounds too good to be true, it is! With most honest SEO companies, you will see some results and hopefully really good ones. However, there are many who will say whatever it takes to get your money and never deliver what they promise.

Always do your research and ask for recommendations from other customers. Talk to friends to get some recommendations. Search the Internet for bad and good things on the company who is offering the service. And I say it again, SEO services are not a magic bullet and be weary of promises that are too good to be true.

Link Baiting

Published by under Search Engine Optimization

Link baiting is a great way to build traffic to your site. However, many webmasters have no idea what link baiting is.

Linking baiting is writing or doing something on your site that will cause others to want to visit your site and link back to your site. There are many ways to do this.  Many sites do link bait with widgets and badges that are added to a website or blog with a link back to a site.  Good examples of this are social bookmarking sites like Digg.

Another example of link bait is writing something that is current breaking news. Many people will find it interesting and link to it. This is a little harder unless you have an inside track because news spreads so fast on the Internet.

Creating an unusual list or great tool that others find useful will get people to your site and wanting to link to it. One example is my post on here about checking for no follows. I have no idea how to incorporate the script in my post so I linked to the original creator’s blog because it is a helpful resource for my readers.

The final and most common way is to write something very controversial that will cause a stir and cause people to read it. This could be political, something funny, an attack on someone famous or any other idea. I wrote an article on my other blog on a religious topic. My plan was not link bait but it caused quite a stir and I had tons of traffic and lots of comments. This to me proved that it works.

If you decide to do link baiting, make sure you spread the word about your article. This can be done by placing it on news sites, social book marking sites, and on related forums. Link baiting is only good if others see it.
