Blogs: Are We There Yet?

Remember those long rides as a kid where you were in hurry to get somewhere? Maybe it was a special trip to Grandma’s house, an amusement park, a vacation. As kids we always asked, ” are we there yet”?  As a blogger and webmaster, I am always thinking about this question and I am sure many of you are too. We build, we design, we do SEO, and we promote. Why do we do it? Though almost of all of us wish to make money from our blogs, this is a more personal question that only you as a blog o0r website owner can answer.

I have known and worked with many webmasters who start one project after another and they put almost nothing in it with dreams of getting rich. Does this happen? More times than not, it does not. There are those few who have conquered the dream but it took hard work, endless hours, and a good investment to achieve. I have been part of many Online projects and made some money here and there. Did I get rich? Not yet. However, I have not invested my whole life to my Online projects.

As webmasters, we need to look at what motivates us and why we do what we do. Only have we do this, can we honestly answer the question “are we there yet?” I know the answer for me changes as my life changes.

When most of my money comes from offline work, I am where I want to be with my blogs. They have held through the test of time and they are always there waiting for me when I need them. They generate enough income to pay for their cost and they supply a value to the readers.  These are the best of times!

However, when my offline income is low, I go back to the love of the blogs and realize that the journey is far from over. It is in those moments that I know that the real answer is to enjoy the adventure on the way and not be an hurry to get there. Building a blog or website takes work and time and if you always try to improve, you are never truly there. However, if your love is to share your knowledge, maybe you have already completed the journey.

So with that I ask you, Are you there yet?

SEO Pro Help

Finding a professional SEO company these days have become more and more difficult. There are many factors that must be considered before hiring such a company. They must offer quality results at a reasonable price.

Recently, I ran across a Seattle SEO Team that offers some great services for webmasters and they seem honest and fair. This company offers to look over your website and give you a free report on what they recommend prior to any purchase. This is a big deal for webmasters looking for SEO help. A true professional will give you details of what they are going to do for you before they just make false promises that they will get you top billing on Google search or anywhere else.

The company, www.wordape.com, offers offices in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, and of course their home base of Seattle. This means that they are not some sixteen year old kid sitting on his bedroom pretending to be a professional.

I have not personally used these guys but I have heard some positive feedback from other webmasters so I thought they would be worth bringing to the attention of my readers. There are testimonies about the companies they have helped so if you wish to read more about them, please visit their site.

As always, if you personally have used this company, please come by and leave a comment to share your experience with others. Remember, building licks and optimizing your site is the most important way for your customers and readers to find you. If you can not do it yourself, there is no shame is hiring a pro to do the job for you.

SEO Marketing Knowledge

As webmasters, you should have noticed by now that things are always changing with search engine algorithms. What worked a few years ago or even a few months ago now does not work anymore. Knowledge is power when it comes to search engine optimization.

There are many methods when it comes to internet marketing. However, the most important is keeping up with the changes and keeping educated. Google, for example, changes things on a regular basis. Because of this, many webmasters fail to meet their target of high rankings. Bad SEO is almost worse than not doing anything at all.

First thing is, you need to know your target and set a goal. Next, you need to do tons of research in the field of promotion and marketing. This takes time and money to become an expert. It is worth the investment if you do it correctly.

Building back links is still the most important part of SEO and should be the cornerstone of your efforts. Optimizing your website content is next in line for the key to success. Placing quality content will ensure that readers will find your site and continue to return. Not only that, they will also want to link to you and that spells more back links. All this must be done with perfection by targeting just the right keywords to set you above the competition and place you high is the search results.

Does this sound easy? Are you up for the challenge? Well honestly, it is not that easy but with hard work it can be done. However, if your company or you do not have the time to invest in doing the job right, I would not attempt the job without a professional. It is easier to build up an unknown website than to fix a poorly marketed website.

If you are not up to the challenge, Direct Consulting Group.com may be an option for your needs. They have done the research needed to do proper marketing. They have been around for over nine years and worked with many top companies. Their team will analyze your website and make suggestions on how to get the most bang for your buck. They are a respected Canadian company that works hard so you do not have to.

Doing the work yourself is a great thing; however, if you are not equipped to do it correctly, it is better to hire someone who can.

Video SEO

The importance of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) has been discussed over and over on this blog. It is the core to the success of any website. As technology advances, we webmasters must remember to advance with it.

One medium that has advanced over the last year or so is the online videos. The craze was catapulted by YouTube and now almost everyone is watching these types of videos. Not taking advantage of this craze would not be smart. It is the fast growing way to market your product or website.

The fact that there are now millions of free videos on the Internet shows that the interest is on the rise. The downfall is that like regular SEO, a web marketer must take the time to do VSEO (Video SEO). Like regular SEO, it is an art and you must know what you are doing in order to see the results and to rank your video high in Google, Yahoo, and the other major search engines. In addition to major search engines, there are many other video search portals that allow viewers to search the many videos throughout the world. Ranking in these portals could be a challenge.

Optimizing your videos for these portals and You Tube should be among your top priorities to see success from Video marketing. This is the wave of the future and you need to be prepared. USO Networks is a great source for VSEO if you are looking for a good company to guide you through the process. They are trained and specialize in optimizing videos to get the most bang for your buck.

No matter whether you do it yourself or hire the job out, you need to jump on this medium and get started with VSEO.

Getting Started Building Your Website

What does it take to be a successful webmaster? Well that is a hard question to answer. I have seen new web owners with no experience be very successful. I have also seen some of the best in the business lead by example. However, one thing that is clear from any webmaster of any level. To be successful, they need a quality website.

It is not always easy to create a website. If you are not a programmer and do not wish to spend hours learning CSS, HTML, Flash, and all the other things you need to know to create a website, you need to find an easier way. You could pay someone else to do it for you. However, to get what you want, it could cost a lot of money; even thousands. I suggest you find a way to do it yourself.

One way to do this is to use Web Studio a quality website builder. They offer many packages from a basic website all the way up to a full operational ecommerce store. With no experience at all, they can have you fully set and ready to go. Their packages include hosting and setup along with many tools to create and build the perfect website.

Web Studio is set up for you or your company to create the perfect website in just minutes. There are many templates that will showcase your products in the right way to attract and keep your customers coming back. This is the perfect way for a beginner to get going without hiring a programmer or web designer.

If you sign up right now, they are offering a ten day trial to try it out. If you were scared to start your own website, the time is now to jump in and get you feet wet by using a service that allows you to be in control.
