Failure is Not Possible
I see webmasters complaining that their website or blog was a failure. Either it did not make the money they wanted or it did not attract the amount of traffic they thought it should. I am here to tell you from one webmaster to another, there is no such thing as a failure when it comes to blogging or creating websites.
My first every website looked like a 4th grader created it. It was so childish that I am almost embarrassed to think about it. I could not get anyone to visit it, I made no money, and it was lonely all by itself. Did I fail? Hell no! I learned from that website and I improved on my next site.
My next site was better and I learned a few webmaster tricks to get some good traffic. Still, I made very little and the site was still unattractive but I did have some traffic. Once again, I was not a failure because I learned even more from that site. I improved on the site and worked hard and sold it for a little profit.
There are very few webmasters who have stepped into the world of the Internet and was a instant success. The key is to do your best and learn from every success and every mistake. I am still, after many years, far from an expert. I still make mistakes and I still get frustrated over not making enough money. However, I have found that each mistake (no matter how big) is a learning experience that will increase my profits in the future.
Being a webmaster is not for everyone. There is so much competition on the Internet. However, with patience and hard work, you can cut your little piece of the pie and become a winner one mistake at a time. Reading everything you can from other bloggers and webmasters will help you get there quicker by learning from their mistakes.
It is not the fear of failure but the goal of success that drives you to be the best at what you do!

u r right! its not easy making money from blogging as it seems. but the key is persistency. i hav seen many of my frnds giving up blogging after a few months as they wanted to make some quick money & failed.
Great blog honest and realistic post! I have also experienced challenges, but I keep trying different things. Sometimes, I focus on content, other times, marketing, and yet other times, I experiment wit SEO. Things are moving slowly, but they’re moving.

I agree with you. Everyone learns from failure and improve from there. We need to put in consistent effort should we want to make money blogging. Having a targeted goal is a great way to keep ourselves moving on without the fear of failure.

I’ve only started blogging on a self-hosted blog mid this year. It’s a continuous learning process and everyday, with every blog post I write and with every blog that I visit and read (like this one), I learn things that can further enrich my blogging skills.
I agree that no blog or website is a total failure. As long you learn something from it, use that new knowledge to improve yourself, then that blog is worth all the effort.
Nice inspiring post.I could relate to thinking back to my first site
I appreciated looking around and wanted to
compliment your work Peace
Thanks
I enjoyed reading your inspiring post, and I’m sure other webmasters will be inspired after reading it. I learn something new from each and every website I make. Like you said, I will always be learning new things. Nothing you do is a failure, unless you fail to keep trying.
You are right, failure can promote you reaching success.
This is a big encouragement to everyone who is still struggling to become an achiever on the Internet. Good timing for me to get to read this!
Very good read. I think this is something everyone should read, especially people that are discouraged or “down” about making money on the internet. I have been there myself, so I know how it feels.
Very nice read and it’s very refreshing to hear someone who feels the way I do at times.
Well, I must say that learning is one of the most important part of life if any person wants to succeed. It depends on person to person and if one really want to succeed then he will also learn something from his failure. This is something which can make a big difference. I guess you are the same person who learned something from his failure. Live long and strong.
The most important thing is that every person should keep learning something and he should specially learn something from hi failure cause this is the point where he can see where he lacks. If he covers it then he have more chances of becoming a better person.
Mistakes give us opportunities to assess ourselves and think about the things that we did wrong. Some people address this, failures never do.
