Well, this is what I hate the most since I am a designer and a content writer more than a SEO person. I want to just work on a wonderful layout (that loads nicely etc.) and some lovely content and not have to worry that Google is too stupid to pick my content in front of God knows what spammer who just knows to do some SEO and places a MFA with great success. In a perfect world the SEO people shouldn't exist since good content would make a site pop or not.

I have nothing against the SEO specialists (since I also do some jobs like this for my clients), but it gets annoying not being able to find a decent resource when doing a google search from all the crap that's being well optimized and still useless.

We should care about this too indeed, since otherwise we don't have the chance to get a decent traffic. We shouldn't have to worry, but until Google finds a way to filter the dirt, there's nothing better ;)
