I love blogging and I started this blog to share what I have learned with other webmasters and webmaster wannabes. I wanted to share an article I wrote a few months ago on one of my other blogs. It is a guide for new bloggers to get started. My Basic Guide for New Bloggers offers an overview of the process needed for new bloggers. It is simple and easy to read and will help anyone get a blog up and running.
One of major points when it comes to blogging is that you will always learn and you will be always adding cool new things to your blog. Some work and some don’t. It is all about the experience and fun when it comes to blogging.
If you do not have a blog, jump on board and start one today. I am here to help if I can so please feel free to drop a comment if there is something I can help with.

I purchased a new computer and I had lost my passwords for one of my blogs. For some reason when I hit lost password screen, the reset key that was sent to me was invalid. I was in a panic because I did not know much about resetting it through my cpanel on my hosting server.
I found the information after some searching and thought I would share it for any others who may run into the same problem.
Fort you need to go to phpMyAdmin and open the database that you have your Word press Blog. Find the users and hit browse. Find the User that is yours (the admin) and click edit. Now you need to search Google and find a md5 hasher and type in your new password and it will generate a code. Place this code into the password field and hit go to save. This should reset your password to a new password and you should be able to access your blog admin.
I hope this helps someone else because I know how it feels to not be able to figure out how to get into your admin panel.

I have discussed before the differences between no follow and do follow links. I have seen a few times in webmaster forums that people were wondering how do you know if a link is do follow or no follow? Well I will reveal my secret to checking for no follow links.
I found a guy who created a little script that will highlight in red any link that is no follow. The script is called Show Non PR Links Bookmarklet and it was created by a guyby the name of Andy Budd. I found this on his blog and it is simple to use. All you do is click once on the link he has on his blog and hold down your mouse and drag the link to either favorites in Internet Explorer or Bookmarks in Firefox and release the mouse.
The script is safe and I have been using it for over a year now and it is a great way to check links quickly. I want to thanks the creator for the great tool and it is free to use by anyone so just visit the link above to get it now.
