Computer based training is becoming huge and a great answer to many companies and professionals when it comes to updating their computer and IT knowledge. I wanted to see what else was out there for these various courses. One of the sites that offer great courses was Self Study Source. They offer tons of great courses that you can take online.
This site offers many courses and a full path to an IT certification. I checked out their site to see what it was like and what they have to offer. The main CBT course I was interested in was their windows 2008 CBT. This course offers all the information on setting up and running a Windows 2008 server. After checking out their demo video, I was convinced that this is taught by a real professional who knows his stuff.
According to their site, these courses are all taught by professional who are really in the IT field and not just any old Joe. The video courses seem very professional done and clear and easy to follow. The website is easy to navigate with easy to find course information depending on what you are looking for. In addition to the online training courses, they also offer a line of DVDs and CD-ROMS to have the learning convenient on the computer and off.
This site offers a lot of information along with the latest up to date IT training and all the material you need to get your IT certification. For me, I find it a great way to master the Window 2008 server without spending hours sitting in a class at the local community college.
